C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is a newly discovered comet that has generated excitement among astronomers. It was first observed in early 2023 by two independent projects: the Purple Mountain Observatory in China (known as Tsuchinshan) and the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS).
